✓ Experience photographing weddings, families and special occasions

✓ Relaxed, professional guidance throughout your session

What to expect during your session

You don’t need to be experienced in front of a camera, most families aren’t.

We’ll guide you through the photos, help with positioning and posing, and make sure everyone looks their best while keeping the session relaxed.

With children, we don’t expect them to stand still and smile perfectly the whole time. We work with their energy, keep things moving, and capture a mix of natural expressions and classic family portraits.

What’s included

✓ A relaxed one-hour photo session with plenty of time so no one feels rushed

✓ Group photos, individual portraits, and natural moments

✓ Over 100 high-resolution images delivered via online ZIP file download

The one-hour timeframe is a guideline. Sessions often take less time, but we allow up to an hour so the shoot feels relaxed and families aren’t rushed.

Why choose a beach location?

Living on the Hibiscus Coast means we’re surrounded by some of Auckland’s most beautiful beaches.

For many local families, the beach is somewhere they regularly spend time together, making it a relaxed and familiar location for family photos. With plenty of beaches to choose from, it’s also easy to find a location that suits your family and the style of photos you’re looking for.

Popular Family Photo Locations

We regularly photograph families at locations including:

  • Orewa Beach
  • Stanmore Bay
  • Little Manly Beach
  • Red Beach
  • Shakespeare Regional Park
  • Other beaches throughout the Hibiscus Coast

Not sure which location is best? We’ll recommend a location based on your family, the season, and the type of photos you’re after.

What to wear

Comfortable clothing always photographs best.

Avoid large logos. Neutral colours and complementary tones help create a timeless look that keeps the focus on your family.
